How much does a Session Cost?

The cost of a session with me typically ranges from $500 to $1,299 + tax. This price covers my time in capturing and editing your photos. Once your gallery is ready, you can choose from a variety of packages or select products a la carte, based on your preferences.

Most clients opt for custom wall prints or a beautifully crafted photo book, and in general, the total investment tends to range between $1,000 and $2,000. Since each session is personalized to fit the needs of each family or individual, pricing may vary depending on the specific details of the session.

I’m here to make sure that every aspect of your experience is tailored to your vision, so we can create the perfect portraits for you and your loved ones. Reach out today and discuss how we can create something truly special for you!

Are Digital Files Include?

I include digital files with each print or product purchased to post on social media!

Do you do mini-sessions?

I get asked about mini-sessions a lot, and the truth is—they don’t align with the heart behind my work. Along with being a family photographer here in Michigan, I’m also a landscape photographer who loves golden hour, slowing down, and really watching how the light moves. That slower, intentional approach is the foundation of everything I create.

Mini-sessions feel rushed, and they don’t give families—or the light—time to settle in.

Michigan families deserve more than a quick 10–15 minutes. Kids need time to warm up. Parents need a moment to breathe. And the natural, candid moments you hire me for don’t happen when everyone feels like they’re racing the clock.

My relaxed, full sessions give you:

  • Time to get comfortable so nothing feels forced

  • A chance to actually enjoy your family without pressure

  • Real, emotional moments—giggles, cuddles, exploring, and those quiet in-between moments

  • Beautiful golden hour light that we can truly take in, not rush through

  • Heirloom artwork that feels timeless and true to your family

My photography is built on slowing down, observing light, and letting your family naturally unfold in front of the camera—much like how I approach my landscape work. Mini-sessions simply don’t allow the space for this level of intention, artistry, or connection.

If you want photographs that feel relaxed, real, and deeply meaningful—something worthy of hanging in your home for years—then a full session is the experience that will give you exactly that.

Where do you hold the session?

I have all kinds of beautiful Michigan spots in my back pocket! Generally locations for weekend sessions are pre-assigned, whereas weekday sessions are flexible, and can happen in your home if you'd like! If you have a favorite spot, I'd love to hear about it!

How many photos will I see?

Typically, you can expect to see 50 photographs per hour.

What if my kids don't behave?

I don't expect them to! Your photo session is not meant to be an exercise in restraint for your wild child or forced smiles for your shy one. A perfect session is one in which everyone remembers it as a happy time all together in a beautiful place. The less you try to impose rules or specific behaviors on your child, the better the photos will be! Let me be the director. You can just relax and enjoy the moment.
