I was born and raised in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and I’m proud to live in the Metro Detroit area. Outside of photography, I’m a sister to two amazing people, an aunt to two adorable kiddos, and the loving wife to my “hunk of a husband.” We share our lives with our two cats and two dogs, who keep our home full of love, energy, and chaos in the best way possible.

My husband and I love spending time in the woods, whether exploring the forests of northern Michigan or just enjoying a peaceful hike in the local parks. We strive to be our best selves, live intentionally, and find joy in life's little things.

But you might be most interested in how I fell in love with photography in the first place. And honestly? It all started back in middle school.

The moment I knew photography would be a part of my life forever happened during a winter trip to northern Michigan. My family and I were skiing for winter break, and I had my trusty compact camera with me (the kind with the fixed lens and no fancy settings, just a simple camera that fit in my pocket). I remember stepping out onto the balcony, the snow softly falling around me, and seeing a perfectly framed view of a snow-covered tree against the soft, cloudy sky.

I snapped a photo of it, and in that instant, something clicked. I realized how powerful a photograph could be—not just as a way to capture a moment but also as a way to evoke emotion and tell a story. That picture of the snow falling still holds a special place in my heart because it sparked my love for documenting the world around me.
