Founded in 2023, Kelseycharmayne Photography was born out of a lifelong passion for freezing fleeting moments and preserving the beauty of everyday life. From childhood summers spent along the Northern Michigan shoreline to cozy winters surrounded by family, my love for photography has always been about connection, light, and memory.

For as long as I can remember, people have told me I have an “eye” for photography—but what I really have is a heart for stories. Every family, every individual, carries a story worth telling. My role as a photographer is to listen, guide, and create space for those authentic, unscripted moments to unfold naturally.

Beyond photography, I am deeply passionate about education and advocacy, particularly in anti-human trafficking and violence prevention. I believe my photography and my advocacy are intertwined—both rooted in slowing down, seeing what truly matters, and preserving what should never be forgotten.

Hi, I’m Kelsey—born and raised in Michigan, and now based in Metro Detroit with my husband, two rescue dogs, and two sleepy cats. When I’m not behind the camera, you can find me sipping espresso and enjoying authentic Mexican tacos (my favorite comfort combo).
