As a photographer, I am deeply passionate about capturing the moments that matter most to you—whether it’s your family’s laughter, the love between partners, or the milestones that mark your life’s journey. However, I’ve made a conscious decision only to accept a limited number of photography clients each month. While this may seem like an unconventional approach, it aligns with my values and belief in the importance of balance in life.
Family First: My Business Philosophy | Kelseycharmayne photography
At Kelseycharmayne Photography, I believe in prioritizing what truly matters in life—family, personal time, and creating meaningful connections. My family is my support system, my joy, and the reason I do what I do. We work hard, but we also understand that life isn’t just about work. It’s about making time for each other, enjoying the simple moments, and cherishing our time together.
Because of this, I intentionally choose to limit the number of clients I take on each month. This allows me to maintain a balance between my work and my personal life. It’s not about taking on as many sessions as possible, but about giving each client the attention and dedication they deserve while also making sure I have time for my family.
Time for Connection and Creativity
When I take on too many sessions, it’s easy to lose sight of what makes each moment special. By limiting the number of clients I work with each month, I can give each session the time and energy it deserves. This also allows me to stay inspired and connected to my creative process. Photography is an art, and it’s essential for me to stay refreshed and focused to create the best work possible.
I take the time to get to know my clients—what they’re looking for in their session, what they hope to capture, and how I can best tell their story through my lens. By keeping my client list small, I can ensure that each session is truly personalized and that I have the mental and emotional space to give it my all.
Family Time and Travel
Another important reason I limit the number of sessions I take on each month is to ensure I have the flexibility to spend quality time with my family, both locally and out of state. As a family-first business, it’s crucial for me to set aside time to connect with loved ones and recharge. We have family spread out across the country, and those relationships are incredibly important to me.
Whether it’s a weekend getaway, holiday visits, or just spontaneous trips to reconnect, I want to ensure that I can be present for those moments. Limiting my workload helps me avoid burnout and lets me fully immerse myself in my time with family, without feeling rushed or stretched too thin.
Quality Over Quantity
Ultimately, I believe that the best work comes from a place of authenticity, connection, and passion. By limiting my number of sessions, I’m able to focus on what truly matters: creating meaningful, high-quality photographs for my clients. I want to be fully present in every session, capturing the moments that will become lifelong memories for you and your family.
If you’re looking for a photographer who values connection, creativity, and personal attention, then Kelseycharmayne Photography is the right fit for you. By working with me, you’ll receive a dedicated, hands-on experience that ensures your photos reflect the love and joy in your life.
Why This Approach Matters
In today’s world, it’s easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of life, trying to do everything and please everyone. But for me, providing a quality experience is more important than rushing through sessions just to fill my schedule. Taking on fewer clients means I can give more of myself to each person I work with, and in turn, it creates an experience that is truly rewarding for both of us.
By limiting my client list, I can offer not just beautiful photography but also a meaningful relationship with each person I work with—something that allows me to create photos that truly tell your story.
