For those of you who do not know me, I love up north, and for those of you not from Michigan "Up North" pretty much means anywhere past Clare, Michigan, or the Zilwaukee bridge. Growing up I was blessed enough for every summer our parents would rent a cottage for one week on one of the small inland lakes around Traverse City, Michigan. So, I know this area pretty well.
